PC Gaming And How To Improve At It

By Richard Hollins

Playing PC games every single day will make you a better gamer but if you want to get better quicker then there are a number of things that you can do to make this happen. In order to be counted among the best players in the world then you will have to do quite a lot because they have set the standard extremely high. You may not have ambitions to be the best gamer in the world but just being able to play well in a gaming competition will require you to put in plenty of work. Here are a few tips about how to improve as a PC gamer.

Remember the 10,000 hour rule. This states that it takes 10,000 hours of doing something before you reach an expert level. This is a lot of time. So you would have to be playing ten hours of gaming every day for almost three years before you become an expert at it.

And if you could only play for about two hours each day then you would not be considered an expert for about ten years or more. You are going to need to play a lot if you want to reach a high standard.

Don't forget about the 80/20 rule. What is meant by this rule is that in order to become an expert at something, eighty percent of people can do it if they put in the effort. The other twenty percent of people just need to put in the same amount of time to reach a higher level because they will already have some kind of talent for it.

There is no need to get upset if you do not belong to the twenty percent group. Most of the people in this group will never put in the hours needed to reach that highest level. If you are not especially talented you can still become a top gamer by putting in the practice.

It is a good idea to learn about getting more from your subconscious. You have probably noticed that a lot of gaming involves doing things automatically without thinking.
