Who Needs Flash On The Ipad When There's Html5

By Jerry Coataz

Apple's iPad has been receiving numerous praises as well as criticisms since it was released in 2010. Obviously, most of the praises came from Apple lovers, while the criticisms came from Apple antagonists. Most of Apple's rivals have addressed the device to be a big disappointment, at least in the first version. However, those from a neutral point of view agree that the Apple iPad provides great functions along with its exclusive features.

One of the most evident deficiencies perceived by many people is the iPad's incapacity to run Flash and Flash-related programs. Flash is a basic standard on the web which almost 80% of websites make use of. Major website browsers like Opera, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, have been using Flash elements for several years now and is a standard now. Due to this deficiency, one can never run any Flash-related web browsers on an iPad.

But Apple has created an alternative or a solution for this problem. Essentially, they have designed and developed applications that are compatible with the iPad software. For example, YouTube has an alternative Flash-free application known as the H.264 which can smoothly run on the iPad. Likewise, Apple supports HTML5 in its web browser for the iPad. This app can efficiently display and run embedded videos compared to Flash-supported websites. I'm sure you are wondering, does iPad 2 support Flash yet? Not yet, but I think a Free iPad will boost your spirits.

Additionally, the iPad has been discouraging people due to its incapacity to multi-task. From rumors to evident claims, the iPad is indeed incapable of multitasking. One must close a current application before he can run another. Apparently, the Apple iPad was designed to run a single program or application at a time. Most people have been maximizing its efficiency through running movies or videos. Thus, the product's promotion was geared towards providing a richer media experience, so multitasking is absolutely impossible in order to achieve a great entertainment experience.

Furthermore, the iPad lacks a USB port and other wired connection ports. Apparently, Apple has sensible reasons for this design, and this is to take full control over iPad's software content. It seems that Apple has designed the iPad the way it is in order to protect or guard their creation from unwanted issues, hence ensuring a properly secured software device. Besides, there are immeasurable iPad apps that can be utilized for each iPad need or function. Definitely, one would find compatible iPad apps that are surely efficient in accordance to his desire. What is more, the company has been consistently designing and producing more iPad applications to meet each consumer's expectations with the said device.

In addition, one can easily find and purchase additional iPad accessories that are surely compatible with the device. There are commonly used accessories like a camera connection kit, wireless keyboard dock, dock connector, Bluetooth headphones, component and composite AV cables, VGA adapter, power adapter, and so much more to choose from.

Despite the presented deficiencies of the Apple iPad, it seems that Apple has prepared solutions for every problem it faces. Certainly, there are several options and additional features to solve each shortcoming that may arise from the famous tablet PC of Apple.
